Effective immediately, RMG hosted sites delivering content via the Cloudfront CDN will no longer be serving requests to users in the following countries:
- Russia
- China
- Iran
- Iraq
- Turkey
- Afghanistan
- Ukraine
- Vietnam
The reason is simple: 90% of the malicious attacks on our systems originate in these countries. To our knowledge the legitimate traffic from these regions is close to zero. Temporary removal of these restrictions is possible on a per account, case by case basis.
Restriction is limited to HTTP / Web requests. Mail is not impacted.
