I want to thank you for making 2016 our busiest year ever – both in terms of our projects and hosting businesses.
RMG completed projects for a diverse set of industries ranging from B2B to B2C to e-government. Over half of our new sites include e-commerce features based on WooCommerce – a perfect complement to our WordPress and Divi core technology.
Our new server infrastructure, built around technology from Softlayer, the UK2 Group and Amazon Web Services delivered 99.98% uptime as well as meeting or exceeding all performance objectives. Our new monitoring system, located in Colorado, alerts us within 30 seconds of any issue on our New York, Salt Lake City amd Northern Virginia based servers.

In 2017 we intend to continue our efforts to innovate and offer new products and services. This includes expanded e-commerce support, warm standby, mobile apps, new multimedia products and upgraded infrastructure.
Also on the agenda for 2017 is the addition of a dedicated “sandbox” server to test new versions of core software – permitting duplication of your environment without impacting production. We are also looking at a support request tracking system.
A few words on security… In 2016 RMG became a member of the New Jersey Cybersecurity Communications and Integration Cell (NJCCIC) – run by Homeland Security. This allows us access to alerts and best practices to help defend your sites.
The overall threat level out there on the Internet keeps getting worse. So please be mindful of phishing emails, never open an attachment from a stranger and select strong passwords with a mixture of upper, lower case, digits and special characters. Never enter passwords when using a public WiFi network.
